Tradefinders believes that those suppliers who are
approved to do business with Tradefinders must follow
the same philosophy. All Tradefinders' suppliers need
to confirm to all applicable national and local legal
requirements, and published industry standards pertaining
to employment and manufacturing.
Tradefinders' suppliers must only employ
persons whose presence was voluntary. They cannot
employ prison, forced, unpaid, child, indentured or
other involuntary labor. They must comply with all
applicable wage and hour laws, including minimum wage,
overtime, maximum hours and rest time. They must provide
employees with a safe and healthy working and living
environment. They must also provide employees with
good working conditions e.g. good air ventilation,
clean and tidy working areas, etc.
Factory premises are audited regularly
by TF to ensure their standards are met and suppliers
must also verify compliance in writing. |
